I decided to turn Faith No More’s Epic into an up-tempo, synth romp. As with any cover or remix, I won’t claim this is any better than the original; it’s just more pop. I even dubbed it over the original video with out-of-sync drumming. That should take you back to the 90s. Epic.

The Coen Brothers’ No Country For Old Men doesn’t have a soundtrack. Like Dog Day Afternoon and The Birds, the movie works best without any soundtrack; but as a fun exercise, I made one for the scene where Josh Brolin is chased into a river. Mostly a rhythm track that speeds up and slows down with some atmospheric organ and synths.
