This project is based in the UK while the FAQ still states, “Kickstarter’s transactions are handled by Amazon Payments, which restricts the ability to receive money to people or entities with a US bank account and a US address”. One off exception?

The RIAA’s spent over $63-million suing illegal downloaders and only recovered $1.3-million in damages.
That probably doesn’t include settlements, but still.
True; the settlements from downloaders would never amount to that much. Of course, the point of all the law suits probably wasn’t to make money, but to instil fear into the pirating public. Hopefully they now realise...
