Big L’s Put It On with Kid Capri. I made this into a electro/hiphop, I guess hyphy, kind of tune; when people were using that term. It’s one of my favourite acapellas to mess around with on vinyl - on this version I even ‘corrected’ that double-time bit of Big L when he must step away from the mic a bit too much and his vocal is lost a little.
This track is part of a few Big L tunes I did with a synth-heavy, 808 drum feel. Put It On is probably the better of all four.
