In choosing a name for this track, I chose Ricky; which would suit it if the Ricky you picture is a creepy sales clerk that follows you home, calls you late at night and then chases you around the house frantically. This one actually sounds like the end credits to an 80s thriller after the spooky bit.

Lazy begins as a glitchy atmospheric dubsteppy tune and then turns into a glitchy heavy-synth breaksy tune and then they mix together, as they always do.

Remember that sound out of Aphex Twin’s Windowlicker, when the bass and drums breaks for a moment and that airy bass expands? I got that going on this track, Berry St, but with a more cheesy breaks influence.

Mandala is more of a progressive breaks tune; it has a nice air to it in the same way psytrance can. It should be noted that this track isn’t Mandela like the proper name, but Mandala like the Buddhist and Hindu spiritual diagrams.

Cancer uses a similar effect than that of The Chemical Brothers’ It Doesn’t Matter, but mine samples Mos Def instead of whatever they do and there’s more erratic breaks synths floating around. Must simplify a little, myself.

Here I began with a small sample from Vangelis’ soundtrack for Blade Runner, hence the track’s title Rachael, adding the organ and trills and elements. It has a kind of swing feel and an airy ambiance. We add some heavy-ish rhythmatic synth and build to a breaks-y payoff.
