The livestream hopes to simulate the ritual of work, it's process and dependency on the past: the other's work.

A Cassette Remix

The /mass/cassette project is an act of destructive creation that transforms a mass-produced commodity into a unique, 1:1 artifact.

Physically erasing the original audio to make room for the remix: the project asserts a permanent occupation of the medium where the new work can only exist through the literal sacrifice of the old.

_{Remaining offline: the work bypasses the digital ecosystem, restoring scarcity and intentionality to a tangible, localized event. This process strips the original recording of its commercial sanctity, reclaiming the "invalid" medium as a site of analog subversion that cannot be undone.}
